About Jami Masters School of Dance

At Jami Masters School of Dance, we offer a variety of dance classes such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, and acrobatics. We also have special programs for students who are looking for more specific instruction such as our Competition Team and our Summer Intensive program. Our Competition Team is a great way for students to take their dancing to the next level with an emphasis on performance, technique, and choreography. Our Summer Intensive program is a great way for students to hone their skills and learn from some of the best dancers and choreographers in the area. We believe that our dance classes are a great way for kids to gain confidence and learn important life skills. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where students can learn and grow. Pre-Ballet

Basic ballet skills, terminology, rhythm, and coordination are taught, practiced, and developed through creative movement, music, and mime in a supportive and supervised environment.

Musical Theater

Are classes that teach Broadway-style choreography, stage presence, and acting, with a focus on learning song-and-dance numbers from a variety of musical productions.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop incorporates a variety of old and new urban dance styles. The dancing represents body movements that go with the beat and rhythm of hip hop music. Hip hop dancing is very dynamic and helps the dancers improve flexibility develop body balance, and coordination.
