Candlewyck Barracudas Swim Team

Many children AND their families feel a great sense of community by getting involved with the Candlewyck swim team each summer. Registration is usually in April every year and the season runs from mid May through the beginning of July. Swim team practice is in the evenings, so kids still get to sleep in or attend camp. Swim team is a super fun way to get to know your neighbors! Many swimmers start at age 4 and swim until they are 18 -- but we also have plenty that start at age 10 or 12 or whenever they move in to the neighborhood. Children from many schools swim on our team (but all are neighbors!) so your child will get a chance to know all of them.
