About Wesley Knust Music Studio

Wesley Knust has been passionate about music all his life. His dedication to his craft has earned him a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Theory from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Florida. While at SVSU, Wesley was able to take advantage of the expertise of esteemed instructors such as Dr. Mark Flegg, Nicholas Schmelter, and Dr. Edward Soehnlen in trumpet and piano. His graduate research at the University of Florida centered on creative ways to incorporate improvisation and composition activities into piano lessons for adolescent beginner students. Today, Wesley is based in Eastpointe and offers piano lessons in his home and online. His expertise and commitment to music education have earned him recognition in 2020 as one of the Top 10 Music Instructors in the Midland region by Lessons.com. Additionally, Wesley serves as the Music Director at First United Methodist Church of Mount Clemens.
