At Camp Leelanau for Boys and Camp Kohahna for Girls, we strive to create an environment that encourages children to grow and learn through meaningful experiences. We offer a wide range of activities designed to challenge and inspire our campers, including outdoor adventures, arts & crafts, sports, and team-building activities. Our experienced staff is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for every camper. Our campers gain self-confidence, build lasting friendships, and learn important life lessons that will help them become responsible and successful adults.

Day Camp (5-8 year olds)

Day Camp is all about introducing our youngest Campers to the routines and traditions of Camp. The Campers travel as a unit and have the opportunity to sample many of the activities offered at Camp. Learn more about the schedule for the week and packing considerations here.

Leelanau Outdoor Center

The mission of the Leelanau Outdoor Center is to provide outstanding experiential and ecological learning in the natural environment that promotes the discovery and development of leadership and character. Our programs and facilities are top-notch, but the real success of LOC can only be attributed to our staff. The LOC counselors are among the most loving, enthusiastic, patient, and fun young men and women one could ever meet. Our well-trained staff understands that character is primary to success in all avenues of life. Labels and stereotypes are rejected when students arrive.

Family Camp

Family Camp is a unique, meaningful week-long program offered by Camps Leelanau & Kohahna to Christian Science families each year. The pure, refreshing beauty of northern Michigan‘s Pyramid Point provides the ideal setting for a week filled with activities, challenges, relaxation, and peace. Indeed, Family Camp is a vacation for everyone!
