One kid could hear a bird's early morning chirp and turn it into the most heavenly symphony. Another could whistle a tune that made the squirrels dance. Their leader was Lyric Lenny, a fourth-grader with a wild mop of red hair and glasses as thick as Detroit’s famous deep-dish pizza.
