The Wells Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to providing an array of activities for the community to enjoy year-round. Whether you’re looking for a way to stay fit or just want to get out and explore, there’s something for everyone at Wells Parks & Recreation. Summertime brings outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, and fishing, while winter offers snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice skating. Spring and fall are just as action-packed, with tennis, basketball, and golf all available. No matter what the season, you can find something fun to do at Wells Parks & Recreation. With a variety of activities and programs available, Wells Parks & Recreation is the perfect place to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you’re a family looking for a fun day out, or an individual looking to stay active, there’s something for everyone. From swimming in the summer to snowshoeing in the winter, Wells Parks & Recreation is the place to go for four seasons of fun!

Programs

The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.

Basketball - Youth

These introductory and intermediate leagues are for boys & girls. There will be separate teams for each gender as long as numbers allow. Participants learn, practice, and demonstrate the skills and concepts of basketball while gaining confidence. An emphasis is placed on skill development and teamwork at both levels. All registered players will be placed on a team

Pee Wee Soccer

This program is for players in grades K-1. Players will participate in skills and drills to learn the fundamentals of soccer and then play a 4 v 4 game against another team. Teams will be announced week 2. Everyone who registers is placed on a team. Price includes T-shirt.

Youth Soccer

This is an intramural program for boys and girls in grades 2nd-5th. Teams will have a 1 to 1 1/2 hour practice during the week on either Tuesdays or Thursdays (Coach's choice). Games are played on Saturday mornings at the Rec. Park at 9:30 am, 10:30 am, or 11:30 am (No games Labor Day weekend). Games against other area Rec. teams may be scheduled and Wells teams may play at out of town fields (Applies to mostly older Sr. teams). Everyone who registers is placed on a team. Some rain dates may not be made up. Price includes T-shirt. Additional team practices may be added (TBA).
