In the far-off, mystical realm of the Pine Tree State, known to its inhabitants as Maine, there exists a magical troupe of children. Now, these aren't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill, everyday kiddos, oh no! The children of Maine are extraordinary. With the power of pencils, crayons, and markers, they wield their tools like enchanters casting spells, transforming the ordinary world into the extraordinary! Meet Sketchy the Squirrel - no ordinary critter, but the fanciful guide to these artistic adventures. Sketchy, with his bushy tail and a hat full of colored pencils, scampers from Portland to Bangor, Kennebunk to Caribou, spreading magic, giggles, and a love for drawing wherever he goes. His mission? To inspire every child in Maine to embrace the joy of sketching, to discover the magic of drawing, and to never fear a blank page. Under the vast sky, where the Northern Lights dance, the children draw with passion - in parks and schools, on beaches and boats. They sketch lobsters and lighthouses, moose and mountains, blueberries and bears, creating a kaleidoscope of colors and images that reflect the beauty and spirit of their state. Their sketches aren't mere pictures; they're portals into their imaginations, revealing brave heroes, majestic creatures, and magical lands beyond the ordinary. Alongside Sketchy, with their colored pencils, these young artists of Maine engage in a quirky, continuous carnival of creativity. Their laughter echoes through the forests, their joy splashes like waves upon the rocky coast and Sketchy, proud as a peacock, looks on, knowing another masterpiece is about to be born. In Maine, every day is a new adventure, every child an artist, and every sketch a new spell to make the world a bit more magical.
