Once upon a time, in the magnificently mystical state of Maryland, there was a unique group of kids who had an extraordinary love for biking. Maryland, a land nestled between the rolling Atlantic Ocean and the mighty Appalachian Mountains, was a place of captivating beauty, teeming with thick forests, colorful wildflowers, bustling cities, and a gigantic, blue crab named Larry. Yes, you heard it right, Larry the Crab! Larry was not your typical crab. He wore neon sunglasses, rode a shiny, oversized tricycle, and had a laugh as loud as a honking car horn. He was the self-proclaimed biking champion of Maryland, and he loved to lead the merry band of biking kids on their adventures. These kids, with their helmets strapped on, water bottles filled, and hearts filled with excitement, would pedal away through Maryland's enchanting landscapes. From the sandy shores of Ocean City to the cobbled streets of Annapolis and the scenic trails of Chesapeake & Ohio Canal, their tires left a trail of laughter and memories everywhere they rode. Every day was a new adventure with Larry and his biking buddies. Along their journey, they would stop to admire the state's wildlife, picnic amidst the serenity of nature, and sometimes even race each other, their cheerful voices echoing through the valleys. And while Larry the Crab was not always the fastest (he claimed his tricycle was hard to pedal), he never failed to make the kids roar with laughter with his goofy antics and hilarious jokes. Maryland, with its diverse beauty, and these children with their boundless energy and love for biking, created an extraordinary and unforgettable tale of fun, friendship, and adventure. And at the center of it all was a gigantic, tricycle-riding, joke-cracking blue crab named Larry. Now, isn't that a story to tell?

At PedalPower Kids, we understand how difficult it can be to teach a child a new skill. That’s why we strive to provide professional, encouraging instruction that builds trust and confidence. Our specialized Learn to Ride lessons, camps, and group programs are designed to be fun and effective, as evidenced by the thousands of “miracle worker” stories we hear every year. Each child is unique, and they each approach learning to ride in their own way. We take this into consideration when developing our instruction methods, so that each student can reach their full potential. We know that each learner is capable of mastering the skill of riding a bike, and with our personalized instruction and support, they can dig deep and believe in themselves enough to stay on two wheels. At PedalPower Kids, it’s our mission to get more kids on bikes. We’re proud to have been trusted by thousands of families to provide the best instruction and guidance for their children, and we’re always honored to be called “Bike Whisperers” and “miracle workers”. Ultimately, it’s the kids themselves who are the real miracle workers, as they face their fears and keep trying until they find success.
