About Ms. Evelyn’s NeighborSchool

The joy of working with children is something I’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced for the past 15 years. I’ve been able to watch them grow and learn, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I run a home-based child care program, which focuses on helping build independence in the children. I strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for them to feel comfortable in, and one of the most fun activities I do with them is reading books. I'm constantly adjusting my program to meet the needs of each individual child, while also teaching them important academic and social skills. I partner with parents and family members, so that they know I'm here to help them and their children. This job has given me so much joy and fulfillment, and I'm grateful to be able to share my skills and experience with families.
