At Criterion Child Enrichment, we are dedicated to providing developmentally appropriate programs and services to families with young children. Our mission is to nurture, support, and guide young children and their families on their journey of early development and education. Our team of professionals, composed of educators, child development specialists, and early childhood consultants, is dedicated to helping families meet the unique developmental needs of their children. We offer a wide range of programs and services, from educational and recreational activities to coaching and counseling services, to ensure that each child and family receive the individualized support they need. We strive to create an environment that is safe, supportive, and nurturing for young children and their families. Through our services, we hope to foster a strong sense of community and empower families to become active participants in their children's development. Child Care
Criterion's Rise & Shine Academy early education and care program is located in Milford, Massachusetts. Rise & Shine Academy (RSA) programs provide quality child care services to families of children between 1 month and 5 years of age (pre-Kindergarten age). Each RSA classroom offers developmentally appropriate programs designed to promote skill development and social competency in a safe, nurturing environment. Classroom teachers are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and have experience caring for and educating young children.

Early Intervention Programs
The primary focus of early intervention is family education, training and support. The program is designed to enable parents and other caregivers to assess their child’s developmental needs, incorporate educational and therapeutic strategies into daily routines and utilize available community resources. Children between birth and three years of age who exhibit a developmental delay or are at risk for a developmental delay because of health or environmental conditions are eligible for early intervention. Early intervention specialists including; educators, therapists, social workers, mental health clinicians, and nurses work with families to develop strategies to incorporate intervention objectives into their daily routines. Services are provided in the family’s home, the child’s early education and care program, the early intervention center or other community locations where the child and family spend time.

Healthy Families
Healthy Families is a prevention program for first time parents under the age of 21. Young parents are provided with support, information on child development and assistance accessing community resources, until their child reaches the age of three. Services are provided primarily in the home of participants. All those involved in the young child’s life; mother, father, grandparents, aunts and uncles may be included in program activities. In addition to home visits, families participate in group social activities such as holiday celebrations, field trips and dinners.
