Our recreational and competitive classes are designed to provide quality dance education in a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Our experienced instructors strive to not only teach the art of dance, but to also boost the self-confidence of our students. At McHale School of Irish Dance, we offer an array of classes for recreational and competitive Irish dance. Our knowledgeable instructors create a professional environment that is both enjoyable and supportive. We are dedicated to surpassing others in the art of dance while also providing each of our students with the confidence to succeed.

Irish Dance Classes: Ages 3-5
Preschool/ Kinder Irish Dance: Ages 3-5 (45 Minute Class) This class introduces the little ones to the basic elements of Irish dance in a fun way! They will learn basic light jigs, reels as well as other technical aspects of Irish dance. In this class, the student will also learn the importance of listening and following directions in a structured class. We love to include fun props and activities into class time to keep everyone engaged & having fun!

Irish Dance Classes: Ages 6-7
Level 1: Ages 6 & 7 Students will learn the basics of both soft & hard shoe dancing in level 1. They will work on technique and learn how to execute the moves properly. Students will remain in level 1 until they reach a degree of proficiency.

Irish Dance Classes: Ages 8 & Up
Level 2 (Ages 8+) Students in this level should be able to correctly execute material learned in level 1, focusing on speed, complexity, and proper technique.
