About Fenix Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Fenix BJJ Team is the perfect place for families to come together and learn how to foster a healthy lifestyle. We invite men, women and children of all ages and skill levels to join us and observe the positive effects that martial arts has on their lives. Our programs are designed to emphasize patience, discipline and respect, while discouraging any kind of physical force or violence. At Fenix BJJ Team, we understand the feeling of disappointment when you don’t reach your goals. We help our students learn how to accept losses with grace and dignity, and how to make the best out of any situation. Our supportive environment encourages students to cheer each other on, helping them to understand that losing is part of life and that what you do after you lose is what really defines you.

Tiny Sharks (4 - 6)

Getting young kids to pay attention can feel like an impossible task. The structure of our martial arts classes shows kids the importance of focus and teaches them by having them apply it to easily-achievable tasks. The focus they learn in the dojo is something they’ll take home – and into the classroom. That’s why kids who study martial arts tend to be good students, too.

Little Warriors ( 7 - 11 )

We never want our kids to have to use these skills in modern life, but every good parent still wants their kids to be safe. But knowing how to defend oneself is only half the battle. Our classes teach your child the respect and self-discipline needed to diffuse a situation without violence whenever possible – as well as the knowledge to know when force is the only way to safety.

Teen / Adult BJJ ( 12+)

There’s no feeling quite like the feeling of knowing that your body is strong, agile, and able to do whatever you want it to do. Studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gives students the knowledge that they can leverage their body’s strength to accomplish things they never thought possible.
