About Cheryl A. Sullivan's School of Dance

At our studio, we strive to provide a comprehensive dancing experience for everyone. From early beginners to advanced dancers, we offer a range of classes to help each individual reach their full potential. For those looking for an extra challenge, we offer select opportunities to join our competitive dance teams and companies. Our teams have been successful at regional competitions, often placing high in the overall awards and receiving special recognition from the judges. Furthermore, our companies have the chance to participate in workshops and conventions held by the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston and other esteemed national organizations. At our studio, we believe in creating a space where everyone can thrive and achieve their dancing goals. We’re proud to offer a variety of classes that accommodate both early beginners and advanced dancers, and we’re especially proud of the opportunities we can provide for those looking to take their dancing to the next level. Our competitive teams and companies have proven their excellence, and we look forward to continued success in the future.

Pre-Ballet/Kinderdance
For the preschooler to develop motor skills, rhythm, coordination, and a sense of working with others in a classroom atmosphere.

Ballet/Jazz Combo. (Level 1)
A program for 5 and 6 year olds combining ½ hour ballet and ½ hour jazz. This allows the young dancer to experience basic ballet and jazz technique and introduces barre work using center floor. The jazz class allows the dancer to express themselves while it introduces a freestyle form of dance combining rhythm, coordination, strength, and emotion to a more popular beat of music.

Acrobatics
Ages 5 and up. An exciting and fun way of introducing gymnastic technique, consisting of floor work, stretching, and tumbling.
