About After School Club
Parents in Woburn, MA, now have a unique after school option for their school-aged children. The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer offers an After School Club that operates on ten acres of wooded land. The program is non-denominational and provides a safe, structured, and carefully supervised environment.
The daily schedule is designed to give children the opportunity to balance their time between homework, reading, and active play in the gym or outdoors. The program also provides a variety of group activities, such as sports, arts and crafts, music, cooking, and board games, which emphasize the values of cooperation, sharing, respect, and responsibility.

Summer Program
Designed for students who are entering grades K-8. (Must be 5 years old)
Children have many choices daily: arts and crafts, supervised free play in the woods, games, science, music, etc.
Children are grouped by age, with 10-13 children per adult.
Field trips on Wednesdays except for the 1st week.
Staff ratios vary according to the nature of the trip, with 5-10 children per adult.
Field trip transportation is by school bus.
We provide two nut free snacks a day.
Daily hours: M – F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
School Vacations
During February and April vacations the After School Club provides fun, reliable vacation care in a welcoming and relaxed environment. We offer age appropriate activities which encourage children to interact with friends, develop life skills and venture into new experiences.
We are open all weekdays except the holiday. The doors open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. Each day includes a field trip (e.g. bowling, skating, lunch at a restaurant) or an in-house special activity which may include a pizza and ice cream party, ASC Arcade Day or a magic show.
