We offer an array of music and movement, creative arts and dramatic play classes that focus on language, self-awareness, and socialization. INFANT PROGRAM

The beginning of a wonderful experience starts in our infant room. Our babies are cared for by friendly, enthusiastic, experienced and responsive caregivers. This room is full of nurturing and individualized attention. Babies needs are addressed with smiles, and frequent eye contact. Loving interaction between baby and caregiver is throughout their day whether its diaper changes, feedings, rest time and play time. Parents provide the schedule, bottles, food and diapering supplies. Parents are kept up to date with a daily sheet that reports feeding times, amounts, diaper changes, nap times and activities that occurred each day.

TODDLER PROGRAM

We have 2 toddler classrooms. These rooms are very busy classes. Children at this age are ready for a more structured learning environment, one that promotes creativity, exploration and self confidence. Our curriculum supports the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and both fine and gross motor skills as they explore self, family and the world in which they live. Our teachers furnish each day with endless songs, stories and games to increase and develop a toddlers concentration, coordination, language skills, responsibility and respect.

PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Part of this ground work includes small-group time, large-group time, and transition times. Group times are an opportunity to introduce new materials, activities, and concepts. The teacher introduces children to new materials and activities, which the children can then continue to explore at work time. New skills and concepts are often the focus of a group activity. Group times also offer social opportunities to children. Group times grow from children’s interests as well as the curriculum’s content areas. Group times are also the parts of the day when learning that need to by systematic and sequenced – such as specific skills and concepts in literacy or mathematics – can be guaranteed for all children.

Music, movement, and playground times are a favorite part of each day. The children’s art is proudly displayed around the room. Fine motor skills are used daily as they participate in themed take home projects. Their individuality is appreciated and their achievements are applauded.
