About Beginnings School
Beginnings School and Child Development Center offers a unique and evidence-based approach to early childhood education. We create a nurturing and supportive environment that allows children from Weston, Wellesley, Newton, Waltham, Wayland and many other Greater Boston communities to explore and learn. Our outdoor spaces are designed to encourage curiosity and creativity, with a treehouse, stage, and landscaping all tailored to the needs of young children. We strive to create a safe and stimulating environment that allows infants, toddlers, pre-K and transitional kindergarten students to thrive.
Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Toddler Care
Our Toddler Program is specifically tailored to the needs of your busy toddler. We lovingly nurture your child through important early milestones, from “self-help” learning skills such as hand washing and putting away their toys, to socializing and forming first friendships. We continue to teach and use Baby Sign Language® as a form of communication through actions while our toddlers further develop their verbal language skills. And, as in all our programs, we make learning fun!
SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAMS
Our before & after school program, the Clubhouse, is offered for children ages 5-12 on regular school days. We also offer full-day programs for all out of school days and camps during school breaks, including Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Camp. Snacks and teacher-assisted homework/quiet time is provided, as well as crafts and time on our playground. Our 2022 Spring Break program offers a sneak peek of the World Odyssey Summer Adventure.
PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN CLUB
Our Pre-K Program is designed specifically to ensure students are ready to THRIVE in Kindergarten and beyond. We do everything we can to set children up for a bright future with unlimited possibilities so they can lead an adventurous and fun life. And, our Kindergarten Club is designed to help students become more comfortable with the transition into Kindergarten.
