At Springboard Schools, we believe in the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning. This approach is focused on inquiry, expression, emergent curriculum, project-based, child-led learning and parental/teacher communication. Our experienced staff and inspiring classrooms provide our children with the environment they need to become lifelong learners. We are committed to creating a unique learning environment that is tailored to the needs of each of our four communities. Our centers in Arlington, Chelmsford, Sudbury and Westford are embedded within each community and are regularly evaluated to meet the socio-economic, cultural and individual needs of each of our locations. Founded in 1987, Springboard Schools is proud to have been a part of the Massachusetts community for over 30 years.

Infant Program

Springboard Schools believes that the infant’s environment needs to be warm, friendly and mimic the environment found at home. That’s why we offer an infant-only classroom with nurturers who love and know babies. Program Highlights: Low teacher-child ratio Individualized care/feeding, diapering, nurturing Plenty of floor time to practice rolling over and sitting up A sensory rich environment with classical music, water play, snow/sand, paint bags and texture boards Songs, finger plays, reading, rhymes and games Climbing structures and pull-up bars for those getting ready to move Outdoor time/buggy rides/walks Parent and teacher communication and developmental assessments

Toddler Program

Here at Springboard Schools we understand that the toddler years are a vibrant time seeing huge leaps in physical, cognitive and motor growth. Springboard provides a toddler-friendly learning environment that encourages exploration and self-care. Program Highlights: Inviting child-friendly classroom Sensory tables, beading, play dough, and other craft supplies for fine motor development and expression Modeling and mentoring in social interactions, imaginative play and conflict resolution Wide variety of books for group reading and independent exploration Fingerplays, rhymes, songs and stories Self-led, project-based activities Focus on self-care and beginning stages of toilet training Physical activity/outside time

The Summer Fun Program at Springboard Schools Westford is a safe, nurturing, fun and creative program that offers plenty of opportunities for developmentally appropriate exploration, creativity, and play.
