About Art House Lab

At Art House Lab, we strive to provide an open, creative space for children to explore the visual arts. Our goal is to create a safe and engaging learning environment, where students feel free to express themselves creatively while developing their art skills. We believe that art is a journey of discovery and experimentation, and we strive to help children build self-confidence and foster a life-long appreciation for the visual arts. Our classes are designed to be both fun and educational — offering children the opportunity to explore a variety of art materials and techniques while creating meaningful works of art.

Mini Makers
This five-week process-art class will focus on basic skill building and the experience of making art, with no importance placed on the finished product. This class is for our youngest artists who are bathroom independent and ready for a drop-off club experience. No cutting or drawing experience necessary.

Junior Apprentice
Artists will explore drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage, focusing on the shapes and proportions of a human face. This five-week class will give artists the opportunity to explore a variety of materials and placement options before committing to a final composition on canvas. Some drawing experience is nice, but not required.

Art Enthusiasts
In this five-week class artists will work with cardboard, fibers, chalk, paint, and clay while focusing on one of the most popular subjects in art: the face. This class is best suited for kids in 1st and 2nd grade with a little drawing and cutting experience. Very young Kinders are best suited for Mini Makers.
