Wellesley Recreation Department is committed to providing recreational and educational opportunities for all residents, regardless of age, ability, or means. This commitment helps enhance the quality of life for everyone in the community. With a wide variety of programs and activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. From creative and cultural programs, to sports and fitness classes, to special events, the Recreation Department is working hard to make sure everyone can take part in the fun. In addition to the recreational programs, the Wellesley Recreation Department also offers educational opportunities, such as workshops and seminars. These offerings are designed to provide knowledge and skills to help improve the lives of individuals and families in the Wellesley area. With these programs, residents can gain valuable knowledge that will help create a stronger, more vibrant community. The Wellesley Recreation Department is dedicated to providing recreational and educational opportunities that will help foster a sense of community and enjoyment of living in Wellesley. With a variety of activities and programs available, all Wellesley residents, regardless of age, ability, or means, can be part of the fun.

After School Program
The Wellesley Recreation Department, partnering with the School Department, offers after school enrichment programs in all of the Wellesley Elementary Schools. All schedules and program offerings are programmed with input from each specific elementary school (Principal and/or PTO). The child must attend the school of the program he/she is signing up for.

Teen Center
Enjoy DJ & Dancing, Open Gym/Basketball/Dodgeball, Photo booth, Karaoke Double Dutch and awesome games including Round the World Ping Pong, and Oversized Jenga!!
