SANDA KICKBOXING
It combines full-contact kickboxing, which include punches and kicks, with wrestling, takedowns, throws, sweeps, kick catches, and even elbow and knee strikes. In competition, Sanda traditionally takes place on a leitai; a raised platform, similar to a boxing ring without the ropes around it. Through a mix of dynamic warm ups, pad and bag work, solo and partner drills, and basic conditioning exercises Sanda helps to develop and improve stamina, increase flexibility, power and strength, Balance and Coordination, and mental health. It is suitable for men and women of all fitness levels and backgrounds.

SHUAI JIAO & BÖKH WRESTLING
The foundation and basic principles of Shuai Jiao are based on traditional Chinese martial arts and adapted for combat training. Shuai Jiao techniques and principles are very simple, effective and most importantly, quick. Because of its speed and effectiveness, an opponent often does not have a chance to counter. Shuai Jiao is an art that does not rely on muscular strength alone, it always emphasizes avoiding direct impact with an opponent’s power and emphasizes getting close to an opponent quickly and using the opponent’s power against themselves. Because of its effectiveness, Shuai Jiao has been trained along with all styles of Chinese martial arts and is one of the four major elements in traditional Chinese fighting.

FITNESS FUNDAMENTALS & COMBAT CONDITIONING
Basic fitness programs are designed to build balance, strength and flexibility with low impact aerobic exercise for cardio health, body-weight exercises for strength building, and stretches for flexibility. Combat Conditioning offers dynamic warm-ups, mobility based movements, and then gets into the class emphasis of the day which varies from more strength work to endurance training, followed by a cool down and stretch, as well as discussion about application of exercises as it pertains to combat sports. An array of fun and dynamic drills and exercises keeps these classes interesting and progressive for all students.
