At Communities United (CUI), we believe that parents are the primary teachers in a child’s life and that volunteerism is essential to our philosophy and education curriculum. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, CUI is run by an Executive Director and a volunteer Board of Directors. Our staff of 70 includes teachers, social service workers, and administrative personnel. Last year, CUI had 500 volunteers who donated more than 15,000 hours in classroom and other activities. We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of our volunteers who truly make a difference in the lives of our students and staff. We invite all parents to join us in supporting our students by volunteering in the classroom and participating in other activities. We believe that this commitment of time and energy will help build strong relationships between our families and our school and will result in a brighter future for our students.
