About Waltham Boys and Girls Club

At the Waltham Boys & Girls Club, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We provide a safe and inspiring environment for children to learn and grow while having fun. Our programs and services are designed to promote the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. The Club provides an opportunity for kids to create great futures for themselves and become productive, responsible, and caring citizens. We are committed to inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential.

Teen Programs
Torch Club is our middle school leadership club for 6th-8th graders. Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities in four areas: service to Club and community, education, health and fitness and social recreation. Each year, Torch Club members from all over the country take part in a service-learning experiences through the National Torch Club Project.

Out of School Time Program
The Waltham Boys & Girls Club’s Out of School Time Program (OST) is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care and structured to develop and implement programs and activities that prepare youth for success. Members are encouraged to participate in all 5 core areas of programming: character & leadership development, education & career development, health & life skills, the arts, sports, fitness & recreation. All children in first through fifth grade are welcome to participate and transportation will be available to the Waltham Boys & Girls Club from the following Waltham elementary schools.

Summer Camp
Junior Adventurers emphasizes a nurturing environment for our younger campers. Our well-rounded schedule includes arts & crafts, nature exploration, music, outdoor play, cooperative games & sports, imaginative play, swimming, yoga, and STEM activities. Leadership, socialization, growth. Are YOU ready for a challenge? Let’s reinvent what summer camp means, together. Social recreation, athletics, art, music, and STEM programming will be part of this choice-based initiative. In addition, all youth will enjoy outdoor play and weekly themed events.
