About Red Acre Farm

Red Acre Farm is a small, family-owned equestrian facility located in Stow, Massachusetts. For 25 years, Kathy Steege has been providing a safe and nurturing environment to teach riders the art of horsemanship in the hunter and jumper disciplines. At Red Acre Farm, riders have access to two spacious outdoor riding rings, a 70' x 175' all-weather indoor arena, paddocks for daily turnout, and 34 stalls. The farm’s dedicated staff make the environment unique, offering riders consistent attention every day. Driving to the farm is easy, with easy access to route 2 and 495. Red Acre Farm is a great place for emerging and seasoned equestrian riders to learn the art of horsemanship. The staff ensure riders receive consistent attention and care, while providing access to the necessary amenities to practice and hone their skills. Riding School
The riding school at Red Acre Farm offers riders, of all ages and abilities, exceptional instruction on safe and reliable horses. With an emphasis on safety and horsemanship, Kathy Steege works with students to meet their individual goals. Small group lessons are offered and dependable school horses are available for riders of all levels. Schooling shows are held during the spring, summer and fall for riders in the lesson program. Students who are interested in more than a recreational program, or who are interested in showing at the local, regional, IEA or national level may choose to get involved with our competitive riding program.

Competitive Program
Competition is at the heart of what we do at Red Acre Farm. We pride ourselves in the success our students achieve locally, regionally and nationally. Our program builds foundation skills necessary for success in the show ring. Our approach supports individual goals.

Red Acre Farm is a full service boarding and training facility. Our Boarding & Training services include: -Thirty-four stalls in three separate barns. -24 hour on-site supervision. -Daily services included in monthly board fee: feeding, mucking, hay, turnout, blanketing, scheduling of blacksmith and veterinary services. -Optional services billed in addition to the monthly board fee: trimming and body clipping, blacksmith and veternary services, grooming, special care, riding, schooling, lunging, and instruction. -Training facilities include: -two spacious outdoor riding arenas -indoor arena 70' x 175' -full set of show jumps for schooling and lesson times -Convenient location with easy access to Route 2 and 495.
