The instructor will show your child each technique and they can practice them with a group or individually. As they progress, they will learn new steps until they have perfected the moves. At Wu Li Academy, your child can learn the traditional Chinese martial arts of Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Chi Kung. The instructors are experts in the art of Tai Chi and will teach your child the techniques step by step. From the basics to more advanced moves, your child will have the opportunity to learn the art of Tai Chi at their own pace. With practice and dedication, they will gain confidence and proficiency in this ancient discipline. Enrolling your child in Wu Li Academy is the perfect way to introduce them to the traditional Chinese martial art of Tai Chi. Through one-on-one instruction, they will learn the steps and techniques of Tai Chi in a supportive atmosphere. As they advance, they will add more steps and perfect their movements, gaining confidence along the way.

Beginners
Beginners learn basic techniques that, over the years, remain as the foundation of all advanced techniques and forms. The principal focus of Tai Chi training at Wu Li Academy is the development of chi, the internal energy of the body. Thus, new students start learning Chi Kung at the first class. Beginners are taught basic Chi Kung routines. As students progress, additional techniques are added at a rate comparable to their chi development. Basic pushing hands training and the Tai Chi sword are added when the student reaches each level.

Intermediate Students
Intermediate students learn applications of Long Form. More complex Chi Kung techniques are incorporated into the students' training and development.

Advanced Students
Advanced students at Wu Li Academy are trained to use chi and breathe with the form. Weapons and their applications are added to the students' training. Herbal treatments and other healing techniques are also incorporated.
