About Dandelion Montessori

, established in 2015, is a Wildflower Network School, an innovative approach to Montessori education started by the Social Computing Group at the MIT Media Lab. At Dandelion Montessori, our mission is to provide an inclusive and diverse learning environment for children ages 2.9 through 6 years. We strive to create a collaborative community of learners, educators, and families that fosters the growth of the whole child on their journey to becoming peaceful, powerful, and purposeful human beings. Our school is a part of the Wildflower Network, a revolutionary approach to Montessori education created by the Social Computing Group at the MIT Media Lab.

COMMUNITY PROGRAM
Our goal is to provide opportunities for children and parents from different families to interact and bond with each other, and transforming our community into a big, extended family where we all care for each other. We also hope to create opportunities for families to support the Dandelion teachers and the school space itself, encouraging a community sense of ownership and stewardship of the school.
