About Run-A-Muck Child Care Center

At the Salem Center, we are committed to providing an environment that is both stimulating and nurturing for children and their families. Our facility offers eight open-room classrooms for infants and pre-Kindergarteners. Located close to North Shore Medical Center, our center is open from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The spacious, inviting atmosphere of the school is sure to make both children and parents feel at home. The Salem Center also offers plenty of opportunities for children to explore and develop their gross motor skills. Our outdoor play area has two separate sections, designed to accommodate the needs of both younger and older children. With plenty of space to run around, there’s no limit to the amount of fun and learning that can be had in this bright and vibrant school. At the Salem Center, we understand that parents want their children to have the best possible environment in which to learn and grow. Our colorful school is designed to provide a perfect setting for children and families, with plenty of space for play and exploration. We are proud to offer a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that is sure to make parents and children alike feel right at home.

Infants
Infants are given the opportunity to explore through developmentally appropriate activities allowing them to become independent critical thinkers. Our teachers have a strong, open and trusting relationship with parents to help support infant development. Goals and objectives are posted monthly.

Our toddler classrooms are energetic and exciting. Toddlers learn skills quickly and enjoy experiencing new things. We set the stage so that toddlers can feel trust and safety in enriching, productive surroundings. Our curriculum reflects toddlers’ varying abilities, interests, and learning levels.

Preschool
Our open-concept classrooms allow children to create, interact, learn, develop, and grow at their own rate. Our preschool curriculum is derived from our program philosophy in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Education guidelines.
