Our Afterschool program provides the perfect balance of activities and downtime for your child to transition between school and home. Our experienced and certified staff will keep your child safe, engaged, and happy. With our Afterschool program, your child will have the structure they need to feel secure and the flexibility to explore their favorite activities and discover new passions. Our staff will provide a safe and engaging environment with plenty of time for your child to explore and develop their interests. Our program will help them stay active, make new friends, and feel secure as they transition from school to home.

Exploring and learning

With FKO staff, certified teachers and/or community experts leading 10-week project-based learning and enrichment classes, kids have the space and time to learn new skills, such as theatre, entrepreneurship, art and sports. By self-selecting classes in their areas of interest, they’re encouraged to discover their new passion, hobby, or even future career.

Teaching skills for the classroom and beyond

Your child needs more than academics to be successful at school and in the real world. Social and emotional skills, such as self-awareness, teamwork, motivation, self-regulation and empathy are necessary to successfully function in today’s society. With stress at an all-time high, we teach kids the skills they need – meditation, yoga, stress relief – to cope with challenges today and in the future.
