About Quincy Arts

The Quincy Art Association is proud to be part of the vibrant and growing arts community of Quincy. Since 1979, the QAA has been providing classes, education forums, and special events. Our offices, classrooms, and studios are always busy, giving members and visitors of all ages the opportunity to explore the visual arts. In 2021, the QArts Gallery opened its doors, allowing us to bring together artists, the general public, and community sponsors. We are thrilled to offer enriching and educational opportunities to all.

Kids Ceramics (Age 7+) | Schatz
Children will be taught to create hand built projects. These will include pinch pot projects like pinch pot monsters, flat slab projects like fish soap dishes, and 3D free form projects like clay dinosaurs. We will include glazing.

ClayTime! After School - Age 6-12 | Hoy
Join the fun! Learn the basics of hand-building with ceramic clay while making holiday themed projects and more. Students will explore coiling, pinch pot and slab techniques. Glazed projects will be fired and ready for pick up within 2 weeks. Make some gifts!
