About Winadu

Camp Winadu is located in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains, and it is the perfect place for your child to make lifelong memories. Our campers are treated to dark night skies filled with stars and they can take in stunning views of the mountains. Every summer brings a new set of exciting activities and opportunities to make friends who feel like family. At Camp Winadu, we strive to provide a safe and encouraging environment for our campers. We believe in teaching children the importance of having a great attitude and sportsmanship, while also showing them that it is okay to make mistakes. Our campers learn to have fun, work hard, and to be a good sport. We want our campers to experience the joy of making positive memories, and to take with them a newfound sense of confidence and self-esteem.

WINADU ICE HOCKEY

Campers at Winadu can stay sharp on their skates, get ready for their upcoming hockey season while still enjoying everything a Traditional Summer Camp has to offer. We like to say at Winadu, you can play ice hockey, learn how to waterski and participate in Color War all in the same summer. The Ice Hockey program is designed for Mites through Midget players no matter their level at home and new players with the intention to play ice hockey in the off-season. Coach Kangas designs a summer long program focused on speed skating, shooting, passing, game awareness, stick handling, defense, team play and goaltending. Campers in our Ice Hockey program travel to a local rink throughout the summer. The program has a unique focus on individual growth.

MUSIC

Talented music instructors provide campers with private lessons in drums, guitar, and piano. Lessons are available for beginners through advanced musicians. Campers are able to put their new skills to use while playing with the Winadu band at Friday night Campership.

WOODSHOP

In Woodworking, campers enjoy crafting wooden games, knock hockey sets, baseball bats, and other distinctive projects.
