At Etoile Dance + Yoga Studio we offer an array of dance styles for children ages 2-18, along with yoga and adult-oriented classes. We encourage all students to explore and discover their passion. Our studio is designed to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients. Both studio spaces are equipped with mirrored walls, fixed ballet barres, large viewing windows, and sprung floors that help prevent injuries and protect students' joints. Our lobby area is clean and welcoming and ADA compliant restrooms and plenty of storage space are available. At Etoile Dance + Yoga Studio, we want all of our students to feel safe and secure while they explore and discover their passions. Our goal is to provide a clean, welcoming atmosphere and all the amenities to make your experience enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you here!

Toddler Dance (Ages 2-4)

New to dance? Not sure if your child is ready to try dance? Trying to find the right studio for your family? We totally get it! Finding the right studio, and the right classes for your child is super important. Learn more about our classes and programs below, and if you have any questions, please contact us! We love helping families understand their dance education options, and what you can expect at Etoile. No matter the level you’re looking for, we offer dance classes from beginner to intermediate/advanced levels in various genres of dance for students ages 2+.

K + G1 COMBO (AGES 5-7)

Kindergarten and First Grade students use these transition years to explore all three core dance genres. The first twenty minutes are dedicated to Ballet, the next twenty introduce the Jazz disciple, and the last twenty minutes of class is dedicated to Tap. These classes continue to play an important role in developing a wide range of abilities, including but not limited to locomotor and non-locomotor body movements, effective listening, expressive motions, discipline, and interpersonal skills. At this age, dancers will begin to discover their favorite dance genre.

TAP LEVELS I-IV

Tap is one of the oldest dance forms in the world with one of the most complicated histories, yet it is considered to be the most American of all dance forms. It has roots in the fusion of several ethnic percussive dances, including African tribal dances, English clog dancing, and Irish jigs. Dancers enrolled in Tap at Etoile will learn the importance of timing, rhythm, patterns, and style as they progress through tap technique. As they advance in level, dancers will shift from a more classical tap dancing often seen in Broadway performances, to a more rhythmic style, using their feet as instruments. In general, tap classes will begin with a center warm-up, followed by skill-building activities including work at the barre in lower levels, and tap choreography.
