About Beth Walsh Dance Centre
The Beth Walsh Dance Centre has been providing the highest quality dance education since 1992, with a focus on creative expression and self-worth. We warmly welcome dancers of all ages and levels to take part in our comprehensive program of both recreational and pre-professional dance classes. Our class offerings include ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, hip hop, theatre and acro, and we prioritize the placement of our students, so that they can make the most of their dance experience. From pre-schoolers to adults, everyone is invited to join us!

PRESCHOOL I
First-year class for students aged 3-5. This class is designed to introduce the young dancer to the world of dance in a fun and age-appropriate manner. The major emphasis is on developing the student’s locomotive skills. Basic ballet and tap terminology are introduced. The class meets once a week for 45 minutes.
BEGINNER PROGRAM
1-2 year Program for students age 8 and up. First-year Technique Classes are offered. Ballet Technique for a 45-minute class. Tap Class for 45 minutes and a 45 minutes class of Jazz. Students are encouraged to take all 3 styles of dance if they are interested in someday participating in the Competition Program. If a student wants to pursue recreational dancing then they may choose any of the classes.
TEEN PROGRAM
1-4 year program for students looking for a recreational non-competitive dance program. Ages 13-Adult. Classes are offered in Tap, Jazz, Modern, Ballet and Lyrical (must take ballet in order to take lyrical), and Theatre (must be taken with a dance class).
JUNIOR COMPANY
1-2 year program for ages 10 and up. Students are required to dance 4-5 days a week. Participate in community performances as well as outside conventions and competitions. Students are required to continue their dance training during the summer in preparation for fall competitions. Students are recommended to this program by the studio director. CLASS ATTENDANCE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AT THIS PROGRAM LEVEL
