About Criterion Child Enrichment Northampton

Founded in 1985, Criterion Child Enrichment has become a leader in the field of child and family development services in Massachusetts. Over 7,000 families benefit from our services each year, with a staff of 350 professionals across 15 locations. At Criterion Child Enrichment Northampton, we understand the importance of professional development for our staff and other early childhood providers in the community. That’s why we host the annual Great Beginnings Conference, an event for advanced early childhood professionals. We’re proud of what we have achieved at Criterion Child Enrichment, and our commitment to providing the highest quality of care for children and families in Massachusetts is unwavering. Child Care RSA
Each RSA classroom offers developmentally appropriate programs designed to promote skill development and social competency in a safe, nurturing environment. Classroom teachers are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and have experience caring for and educating young children.

Early Intervention Programs
The primary focus of early intervention is family education, training and support. The program is designed to enable parents and other caregivers to assess their child’s developmental needs, incorporate educational and therapeutic strategies into daily routines and utilize available community resources.

Healthy Families
Healthy Families is a prevention program for first time parents under the age of 21. Young parents are provided with support, information on child development and assistance accessing community resources, until their child reaches the age of three.
