About MathPlus School in Newton, MA
At MathPlus School, we offer a unique, advanced math program to help our students reach their full potential. We have an innovative curriculum designed to help children excel in math at all grade levels, win math competitions, and gain admission to the top universities. Our classes are small, with no more than six students, so we can give each student the individual attention they need. Our approach to teaching math is different from other schools. We focus on helping children discover the beauty and creativity of mathematics. We strive to nurture a love of math in our students, encouraging them to think outside the box and solve problems in innovative ways. We believe this will give them an edge when competing in math Olympiads and seeking admission to the best colleges.

Preschool Level Program
Prerequisite: 4 years of age – this program is a prerequisite for the Kindergarten Level Program - Name numbers, count 0-10 - Recognize the attributes of size, length, area, weight, and capacity of everyday objects - Compare numbers. Understand addition and subtraction as putting together or taking away - Identify colors - Identify relative position of objects in space - Sort, categorize, and classify objects - Identify various two-dimensional shapes (squares, circles, triangles, rectangles) - Time – put pictures in order.
