About Cha's Tae Kwon Do

In response to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cha family saw a need and responded by creating Cha's Taekwon-do school in the basement of their family residence. This school provided online classes to support families in the Newton area and surrounding communities, offering a unique combination of wellness and discipline. Fast forward to August 2021, and the Cha's Taekwon-do school has been able to establish an in-person location. The school is operated by Grandmaster Kwang H. Cha and his two sons, Jung W. Cha and Sung H. Cha. This in-person location provides the physical interaction that many families have been missing during the pandemic.

Our focus with teaching our younger members is to instill discipline through consistency and repetition. It is important to build a proper routine as it helps build character and understanding of one’s own responsibilities as they grow older.
