About Artisan Childcare Center

At Artisan Childcare Center, we understand the importance of educating the whole child. We have developed a curriculum that helps children develop physically, socially, emotionally and academically. Our primary focus is to introduce music into the lives of all children on a daily basis as research has proven that early exposure to music leads to a higher aptitude in learning. We have a degreed music educator who provides daily music lessons for our infant and toddler classrooms and piano lessons for our preschool students. Additionally, we incorporate activities like drawing, painting, sculpting and acting into academic lessons to foster excitement and a love of learning. With this approach, we ensure that each child receives the best possible education.

Infants
The infant program serves children aged six weeks to fifteen months. Each classroom accomodates up to seven infants and is supervised by two to three teachers at any given time. Artisan's youngest participants spend their days in a stimulating, clean and developmentally appropriate environment led by a team of nurturing educators whom developed an individualized plan for each child's care in partnership with his or her parents.

Toddlers
The Toddler program serves children aged 15 months to three years. Toddler classrooms accomadate up to nine children and are led by two to three teachers at any given time. Artisan's Toddler Program support each child's ever-developing sense of self, their growing independence and burgeoning physical abilities through a specialized curriculum designed to help prepare children for transition to Preschool Program.

Preschoolers
The Preschool Program serves children aged three to five years. Each classroom accomodates up to twenty children and is led by two to three teachers at any given time. Artisan maintains a classroom environment that is integral to everyday learning experiences, and all equipment, materials and furniture is sized accordingly.
