At The Potters Shop & School, we celebrate clay and craftsmanship. Our community is made up of a diverse group of people, from students to professional potters to hobbyists. We offer a variety of classes and workshops, as well as internships and three levels of studio membership, so everyone can find a package that fits their needs. No matter your clay background – whether you’re self-taught, taken classes, or are a professional – you’ll find a common interest in art and craft that brings us all together. Our staff is passionate about creating a safe and productive space, encouraging collaboration and support to make sure your experience is rewarding. At The Potters Shop & School, we’re dedicated to helping everyone from beginners to advanced potters make their projects come to life. We foster a culture of creativity and collaboration and strive to make our studio an enjoyable and productive experience for all.

Kids Workshops - Pottery Parties
If you live in the Needham, MA area, we can come to you for a fun pottery birthday party! Parties can be arranged for all ages, including mixed ages. We will provide a teacher, tools, and materials for an hour of handbuilding. The project will be based on the ages of the participants. After the party, we will carefully dry, bisque, glaze, and glaze fire your work. Pieces are generally available for pick-up about a month after the party.
