About Nantucket Ice Community Rink

Nantucket Ice is a non-profit organization that promotes a healthy recreational environment for the children, adults, and families of Nantucket Island. Established in 1995, Nantucket Ice has been committed to creating a sense of community spirit and encouraging the sport of ice-skating. After seven years of hard work, the first year-round community skating rink was built and opened to the public in 2002. Nantucket Ice has been dedicated to providing a healthy recreational environment for the Nantucket community for over 25 years. Established in 1995, the non-profit organization has a 501(c)3 designation and was founded with the mission to build the first year-round community skating rink on the Island. After seven years of hard work and dedication, the facility was opened in 2002 and has been providing a place for the children, adults, and families of Nantucket to gather and enjoy the sport of ice-skating ever since. Nantucket Ice is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and healthy recreational environment for the children, adults, and families of Nantucket Island. KIDS ON ICE
Kids on Ice is a twice-weekly, after-school skating program funded by the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation, Inc. All school-aged children are welcome to come and enjoy the skating fun and games. Supervision is provided by Nantucket Ice and Skate Guard Staff who focus on encouragement and teamwork. Kids on Ice is free to all school children aged four through high school. Helmets are required and available at the rink.
