This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. Parents, get ready to make some unforgettable memories! ACKventure Full-Day runs from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and is perfect for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. During the day, your child will explore the wonders of Nantucket, including its beachfronts and the picturesque Moors. Plus, they’ll get to take advantage of the facilities at the Nantucket Public Schools, such as the pool, gymnasiums, fields, auditorium and library. If you have younger children, we also offer Jr. ACKventure, a half-day camp from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for children aged 3 years and 6 months to 5 years. This program is specifically designed for pre-school aged children. Finally, ACKventure Sports Camps cater to ages 7 – 18 years. Programs start at 9:00 a.m. and go until 12:00 p.m., with an afternoon option for ages 7-11. Our experienced coaches are here to teach your child a variety of sports, such as basketball, gymnastics, yoga, speed & conditioning and more.
