About Artists Association of Nantucket - Visual Arts Center

The Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) is committed to creating a vibrant visual arts community on the island. We strive to promote, support and encourage the work of talented Nantucket artists, provide educational opportunities through our range of arts programs, and preserve the legacy of Nantucket's artistic heritage. Since its inception, AAN has exhibited art in a variety of forms, from the projects of school-age students to masterpieces of professional artists. We have also proudly developed a museum-quality collection of historical art from the island, opened a Visual Arts Center for educational purposes, and helped launch the careers of many Nantucket artists. AAN is proud to contribute to the island's artistic legacy and to continue to foster the visual arts in Nantucket. We invite you to support the work of Nantucket's artists by joining us in our mission to promote, support, and encourage the visual arts on the island.
