The Blue Hills Trailside Museum provides a unique opportunity to explore the outdoors and learn about the state’s natural habitats. With a natural history museum and outdoor exhibits of native wildlife, we offer visitors an insightful look into the beauty and diversity of Massachusetts. Our wildlife on display, including River Otters and Red Foxes, have been rescued and would not survive in the wild. Come visit us as we provide a fun and educational outdoor experience for all ages. Our partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation allows us to offer campers ages 5–16 a chance to discover nature through hands-on exploration, creative play, and active learning. Our experienced, caring staff provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere, so be sure to come check us out on "the hill"!
