About Mother Hubbard Pre-School Center

For over 50 years, Dick and Dottie Vecchiolla have proudly owned and operated Mother Hubbard's, a high-quality, affordable child care center. For generations, Mother Hubbard's has been a warm, caring home away from home for children. We strive to be sensitive to each child's individual needs, providing a nurturing environment that fosters physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural development. The strong relationships we have built with our families and our alumni over the years is a testament to the fond memories our children create while in our care. We are proud of the fact that many of our alumni have chosen to return to Mother Hubbard's to work with the next generation of children.

INFANT / TODDLER PROGRAMS
The Infant/Toddler programs provide two teachers per nine children in a loving, nurturing and safe environment in which children are encouraged to explore their environments. We not only provide carefully balanced active and quiet periods throughout the day, but also stimulation and a sense of security. As your infant grows and develops, he begins to express independent thoughts and to make his own choices.

PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Our open-ended activity areas and curriculum open up a world of active learning. This allows children to develop significant relationships as they learn to cooperate. They also develop communication skills which allow them to interact appropriately with important adults in their worlds.

SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN PROGRAMS
Our School Age children are served breakfast before school and return to an afternoon snack. Teachers plan and prepare a stimulating environment in which children are challenged to learn through active exploration and interaction. If they (or you) wish, they can do their homework (with help if needed), play sports, or just relax, as we recognize that they have been in a structured setting all day.
