About Medford Little League Baseball

Medford National Little League is a non-profit, board-run organization. Volunteers from the community are essential in making the program a success, donating their time and expertise to provide a positive environment for our youth. The board of the MNLL works hard to promote good sportsmanship, while providing quality instruction in the development of baseball and softball skills. Through the guidance and leadership of the volunteers, the MNLL strives to instill in our young people the values of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical fitness. All operations of the Little League are run by volunteers, except for some professional services, and they are committed to providing a healthy environment for the youth of our communities. The MNLL is dedicated to fostering a love of the game and to enriching the lives of our youth. We will strive to instill in our young people the values of sportsmanship, fairness, and competitiveness, while providing a safe and positive atmosphere for our children.

Programs

The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.

Tee-Ball (Co-ed)

Boys and Girls League ages 4-6 may play tee-ball. In some cases, 7-year-olds may play tee-ball if they have never played before.

Minors – Player Pitch (Softball & Baseball)

Boys & Girls League ages 7 through 11 may play minor division. In some cases, 12-year-olds may play down to minor division but they are NOT permitted to pitch and must sign a pitching waiver provided by the league. Minor division players are required to try out to assess skills to play in this division. This is for player safety.

Majors – Player Pitch (Softball & Baseball)

Boys & Girls league ages 10 thru 12 may play major division. In some rare cases, 9-year-olds may play up into majors if they are assessed as having adequate playing experience. Major Division players MUST try out to ensure proper team placement.
