With a variety of stimulating activities and materials, we’ve created an environment where children can learn and explore. Our state-of-the-art center includes classroom spaces and materials designed to engage children in science, art, block building, math, sensory play, dramatic play, and language arts. The spacious 2000 sq ft indoor gross motor room is the perfect place for children to explore and exercise. Plus, our full-size kitchen provides a great learning opportunity for children to learn about nutrition and cooking. Not to mention, our huge outdoor natural playscape allows children to explore the outdoors while learning about the environment. At Mountainside Children’s Center, we strive to provide your child with a solid foundation for learning. Infant Program

In the early months of life, infants are experiencing their physical and social environment. Long before they can move around, they explore with their eyes, attend to sounds, and manipulate objects within their grasp. We provide many play materials that support their development.

Toddler Program

For our young toddlers, we have created a classroom schedule which provides the children with the security of routine and consistency, two factors which children thrive on. Though the class is on the same schedule in terms of meals and sleeping, the individual needs of each child are constantly being met.

Preschool Program

The curriculum in our preschool program is developmentally based acknowledging the fact that each child has his or her own rate and pattern of growth physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. The readiness of a child is not hurried. Instead, our curriculum gives each child opportunity to explore new surroundings, materials, and experiences, in an atmosphere of love and understanding.
