About Seasiders Baseball

Seaside Park has been a beloved part of the Swampscott community for over a century. On Thanksgiving Day 1913, the park played host to the first game in the town's athletic history, a football match between Swampscott and Marblehead High School. It was an epic battle, with the home team ultimately claiming victory over their rivals 13-0. Since then, Seaside Park has been the home field for the high school baseball team and American Legion teams, passing on a sense of community pride from generation to generation. It has become synonymous with the town and its signature architecture has earned a special place in the hearts of the locals. There is something special about Seaside Park that captures the spirit of the town of Swampscott. It has seen a century of triumphs and traditions, and will undoubtedly continue to be a part of the town's history for many years to come.
