At Sunshine, we understand that discipline and punishment is not an effective way to teach children kindness, politeness, honesty and respect. Instead, we rely on gentle guidance, encouragement and positive influence. We believe that children learn best through first-hand experiences and that an ideal learning environment should be stimulating and fun. We recognize that all children have unique gifts and potentials and we strive to foster their individual creativity. Through carefully crafted activities, we help children to develop their thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. We recognize the critical role parents and family play in a child’s education and development. We encourage parents to be actively involved in the learning process and to serve as positive role models. We believe that a great childcare program should be based on a strong partnership between parents and the childcare program. At Sunshine, we strive to create a positive learning environment where children can reach their full potential. We provide a safe and nurturing space where children can learn and grow through hands-on experiences and participate in activities that stimulate their creativity and develop their skills. Daycare Sunshine Programs

At Sunshine we provide age and developmentally-appropriate programs to meet the social, physical, emotional, intellectual, and growth needs of each child. Sunshine offers childcare for four age groups. Different curriculum is designed for each age group. All programs are staffed with bi-lingual teachers speaking English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), or both. The four age groups are: Infant: 3-15 months old Infant/Toddler: 1-2 years old Toddler/Pre-school: 2-3 years old Pre-school: 3-7 years old
