The Tiny Tigers Program is geared towards children ages 4 to 5. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character-building qualities such as courtesy, respect, and self-control. Additionally, the techniques taught are designed to improve children's motor skills and to give them the necessary building blocks to develop a strong mental and physical foundation in a positive, comfortable and nurturing environment. The Tiny Tigers Program is a six month program. The hallmark of this program is the focus on self-esteem, respect, discipline and confidence-building techniques. Coordination, listening, memorization and attention skills are also developed while students simultaneously learn self-defense methods. Each month, students earn colored stripes on their white belt as they achieve their goals. This goal-oriented rewards system works because students are systematically presented with small challenges that they are ready to face and overcome. This is how self-confidence is built.

At Kwon’s Taekwondo we offer a complete martial arts program for your child - beginner’s level classes to advanced level classes. Through the ranking system our students are motivated to set short and long-term goals-envisioning and achieving the ultimate goal of earning a Black Belt and beyond. You can also find other benefits from training Taekwondo: Improved self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline and respect, exercise and physical fitness and improved academic performance. It is our mission to make sure every child is successful, while developing at their own pace. We tailor our program to meet the individual needs of each child according to their personality, age and skill level. We work together with parents to achieve this goal, and have consistent, open communication with all of our families.
