Whether you are a beginner or an experienced potter, you can find a wide range of classes and workshops that cater to your needs. From one-time workshops to seven-week-long classes, you can find the perfect program for your experience level and interest. The Pottery Mill also offers private group events for special occasions. Celebrate birthdays, bachelorette parties, work parties, family gatherings, and more with a group gathering at The Pottery Mill. For those with experience in the craft, we offer a monthly membership that grants access to our professional equipment.

Kids Classes

Classes cover all the basic wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques, and are appropriate for ages 8 and older! It is a fun class with all different types of clay projects ranging from bowls and mugs to fun pinch pot animals. Classes are typically 4 or 5 weeks long one day a week in the afternoon.

Teen Pottery Classes

Classes cover basic wheel throwing and hand-building techniques! This class is perfect for beginners, intermediate or even advanced artists-come play with clay, we'll help you in any way we can. Classes are limited in space to maximize personal attention.

Adult hand-building workshops

Adult hand-building workshops are perfect for beginner and intermediate potters. Each workshop holds a unique project and is completely customizable. Two-three weeks from completion, your pieces will be fired and ready to pick up from the studio.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are perfect for beginners and intermediate potters! If you are looking to learn how to wheel throw and want individual attention these lessons are for you! Maybe this is your first time or you're looking for some extra help on your technique, our instructors can help you! This is also a great option for individuals who cannot make our regularly scheduled classes and workshops. This is an ideal family friendly option as well!
