About Community Teamwork
For over 45 years, Community Teamwork, Inc. has been a leader in providing housing, human services, child care, and community development to Greater Lowell and surrounding areas. In 2011, we moved our headquarters to the historic Bon Marche building, located in the heart of downtown Lowell. This new space serves as our central base for providing our clients, employees, partners and supporters with attractive, unified services. We currently have nine program and service sites in Lowell and Lawrence, Wakefield and serve residents across 63 cities and towns in Middlesex and Essex Counties.
Community Teamwork’s commitment to the community is evident in our mission to help people and the community reach their full potential. To date, we’ve served over 50,000 people, employed over 500 and partnered with dozens of organizations, including immigrant and refugee communities. Our subsidiary, Common Ground Corporation, has also partnered with cities, towns and municipalities to create much-needed affordable housing, with over 200 units created to date. We are proud to be a part of a deeply interwoven network of partnerships that make our community more resilient and responsive.

The program provides quality after school care through enrichment activities and academic assistance. It serves as a bridge between the home and school connection. The daily program is planned to meet the needs of the individual as well as the group. Children are encouraged to develop and pursue individual interests while respecting the rights of others.

Community Teamwork offers five center-based Head Start/Early Head Start Early Learning programs that include the Community Teamwork James Houlares Early Learning Center, the Children’s Village at the Mill, Toddler Corner, Parker Avenue Elementary (Dracut) and the Lowell Collaborative Preschool Academy (in conjunction with Lowell Public Schools).
