About Lexington Singapore School

At Lexington Singapore School, we understand the importance of a strong mathematical foundation for our kids. That's why we offer a research-based and results-oriented approach to math education. Our classes and programs use the renowned Singapore Math pedagogy and are tailored to the needs of each student. Our classes are small to maximize learning and since 2020 we also offer remote classes via Zoom. We offer afterschool and weekend classes as well as summer programs for grades K-12. Our approach to math education focuses on both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. Our teachers actively engage their students in visualization, logic thinking, and problem-solving - helping them develop the skills they need to thrive in math. At Lexington Singapore School, we believe that a strong mathematical foundation is the key to success. That's why we use the proven Singapore Math pedagogy and tailor our classes and programs to the needs of each student. Our approach focuses on both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency, and our classes are conducted in small groups to maximize learning. We offer afterschool and weekend classes as well as summer programs for grades K-12, and since 2020 we also offer remote classes via Zoom.

After School Math Classes

We adopt a balanced math curriculum based on the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Singapore math pedagogy. Using strong visualization and modeling, we emphasize Logic Reasoning, Early Algebraic Thinking, and Problem Solving. Our goal is to establish a strong mathematical foundation in our students so that they would enjoy challenging math tasks.

Summer Math Classes

Enrollment is now open for Lexington Singapore School Summer Math Classes. This year, we are offering both in-person and remote online formats. These classes focus on Problem-Solving and promotes critical thinking through solving unfamiliar problems.

Math Competitions

Some of our classes are competition classes which compete in regional and national math competitions as teams. The goals for the team classes is to cultivate interests in solving challenging problems while nurturing their logic reasoning and critical thinking skills.
