The Montachusset Opportunity Council is dedicated to alleviating poverty and providing a brighter future for families. Our range of services covers everything from childcare and education to workforce development, health, nutrition, and even community and housing support. By striving to improve systems and providing services tailored to those in poverty, we are giving families the chance to open the door to a brighter future. At MOC, our mission is to help families gain economic security by eliminating barriers and creating opportunities. We understand the struggles of those living in poverty, and our goal is to provide a helping hand. Through our comprehensive services such as childcare, education, workforce development, nutrition, health, and community and housing support, we can help families get back on their feet and reach their goals. The Montachusset Opportunity Council is determined to make a positive difference in the lives of those living in poverty. Our dedicated team is devoted to providing the assistance and support needed to empower those in poverty to make lasting changes in their lives. Childcare and Head Start programs
Our childcare and Head Start programs provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age children. We strive to support children’s school readiness and desire to be life-long learners, with a focus on providing a stimulating early education and care experience that promotes each child’s social/emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

SUMMER CAMP
MOC’s Homework Centers' Summer Programs run for six weeks and provide educational and recreational activities to youth. Youth work on summer reading assignments and MCAS prep, do hands-on activities with nature and science, learn about important concepts such as nutrition and recycling, and participate in recreational activities like basketball, swimming, and arts and crafts.
